1. Controller

2. Cookieless analytics (Umami)
This website uses Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to collect anonymous usage statistics — such as pages viewed, referral source, approximate region and device type. Umami sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and builds no cross-site user profile. Only your approximate origin is derived from the IP address; the IP address itself is not stored, and no data is transferred to advertising networks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in statistical reach measurement and improving our offering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). As nothing is stored or read on your device, no consent is required — which is why no cookie banner greets you here. The analytics service is operated by Umami Software, Inc. (USA); for this website the EU data region is enabled (data stored in the EU). Where US sub-processors are involved, the transfer is based on the EU standard contractual clauses. Fonts continue to be served locally from our own server (no Google Fonts CDN).
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc.). When you access the site, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, time of access, page requested) in server logs to provide and secure the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement with EU standard contractual clauses is in place with Netlify.
4. Demo request form
If you use the demo or contact form, we process the data you provide (name, business, industry, e-mail, and optionally your preferred date and a message) to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Transmission takes place via Netlify Forms; the data is forwarded to our e-mail address and deleted once your enquiry has been concluded, at the latest after 12 months.
5. Trial access ("Start free trial")
If you create a trial access, the form data (company, name, e-mail, and optionally phone) is transferred directly to the buuktime platform and processed there to set up your trial organisation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The platform runs on EU infrastructure (Supabase, server location Ireland). In addition, the detailed privacy policy of the buuktime app applies — including retention periods, sub-processors and the data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR — which you receive with the welcome e-mail.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, contact hello@buuktime.app. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority (dsb.gv.at).
7. Data processing for businesses
For businesses using buuktime in production, we provide a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR — get in touch at hello@buuktime.app.
